The Happy Facepainter, owned and operated by Christine Gloster since 2004, is a front-running facepainting company in the Western Mass. area. Our goal is to provide the best facepainting experience possible for our clients and to become their face artist, year after year. Customer satisfaction and safety are high priority for us. We use strict hygienic practices and all paints are the highest quality, FDA compliant and hypo-allergenic. Our talented team of face artists are fully insured and each artists has over 10 years experience. In 2024, Christine will reach 20 years (wow!) experience as a facepainter, and she is very proud of the longevity of her small, woman-owned business.

Christine has some pretty awesome career highlights. She has facepainted on 7 voyages for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, for the family of Aaron Lewis (formerly of the band Staind and current country music star), at over a dozen travelling dinosaur shows in the Northeast and she was also featured in a special Halloween segment on the Mass Appeal TV show. One of her most cherished facepainting experiences was attending FABAIC (an international facepainting conference) where she was able to meet and learn from some of the best facepainters in the world.

The Happy Facepainter currently offers facepainting, glitter tattoos and glitter parties (using face jewels, glitter tats and face glitter), however, if you are having a large event requiring multiple artists doing other forms of entertainment, Christine can set you up with a team of talented, experienced artists who can do balloons, henna, caricatures and magic too! Just call us and we would be happy to discuss. Also, we will travel! Although we are based in the Springfield Mass area and most of our bookings are there, we are more than happy to go abroad and far beyond our area (additional travel charges may apply).

Thanks to our wonderful clients, we are busy year-round, mostly at birthday parties, festivals and community events. Most of our bookings come from either word-of-mouth or they are repeat customers. We do advise people to book us as early as possible, to secure the date and time that you want (non-refundable deposits are required at bookings).
